This position serves as a PreOp PACU RN within the North Texas Float Pool, floating across our surgery centers in McKinney, Frisco, MCD, MCOS, Plano, Allen, and Anna. In this role, you will partner with the surgical team to plan, execute, and evaluate nursing care for patients preoperatively and postoperatively until discharge. You will ensure care areas are adequately prepared, necessary equipment is available, and patients meet all discharge criteria. Your day-to-day involves conducting comprehensive physical and psychological assessments, administering pre-operative medications and IV therapy, and monitoring operative sites to report any abnormalities to surgeons.
