This role is part of the North Texas Float Pool, supporting Surgery Ventures powered by HCA Healthcare across multiple ambulatory surgery centers in the region, including McKinney, Frisco, MCD, MCOS, Plano, Allen, and Anna.
About the Role
As a PreOp PACU RN Float Pool nurse, you will join a team passionate about the patient experience. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating nursing care preoperatively and postoperatively until patients are discharged. Your day will involve preparing care areas, ensuring equipment availability, conducting comprehensive physical and psychological assessments, and administering pre-operative medications and IV therapy. You will also monitor operative sites and ensure patients meet all discharge criteria, embodying the values of quality care and compassion.

Requirements
- verifiedAssociate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma or Higher degree in Nursing
- verified1+ years of nursing experience in a clinical setting
- verifiedActive RN license
- verifiedBCLS Certification
- verifiedACLS required within 30-days of hire
- verifiedPALS if required by facility within 30-days of hire
Nice to Have
