As a PreOp PACU RN Float Pool nurse, you will join a team passionate about the patient experience. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating nursing care preoperatively and postoperatively until patients are discharged. Your day will involve preparing care areas, ensuring equipment availability, conducting comprehensive physical and psychological assessments, and administering pre-operative medications and IV therapy. You will also monitor operative sites and ensure patients meet all discharge criteria, embodying the values of quality care and compassion.
