This position serves as a PreOp PACU RN within the North Texas Float Pool, offering a dynamic opportunity to support ambulatory surgery centers across the region. The role floats between our facilities in McKinney, Frisco, MCD, MCOS, Plano, Allen, and Anna, allowing you to bring your expertise to diverse clinical environments.
As a valued member of the team, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating nursing care for patients preoperatively and postoperatively until discharge. Your day-to-day involves preparing care areas, ensuring the availability of necessary equipment, conducting comprehensive physical and psychological assessments, and administering pre-operative medications and IV therapy. You will play a critical role in monitoring patients, checking operative sites for abnormalities, and ensuring all patients meet discharge criteria, all while upholding the high standards of quality care that define our organization.
