The AlphaHire Workforce Intelligence Lab (WIL) is an applied workforce research initiative dedicated to the construction industry. We focus on labor markets, workforce planning systems, compensation intelligence, labor scarcity analysis, and operational workforce visibility.
Our mission is to synthesize publicly available labor data, compensation trends, contractor growth indicators, and construction activity into actionable workforce intelligence systems. We develop frameworks and regional labor market analyses designed to support operational decision-making for construction firms and industry operators.
We are seeking Predictive Analytics Fellows to join our team in building workforce forecasting support systems and labor market analytics. This fellowship is designed for graduate students, PhD candidates, analysts, data scientists, operations researchers, and analytically oriented professionals passionate about workforce systems and labor market visibility.
Unlike speculative forecasting or purely theoretical modeling, this role emphasizes explainable methodologies and operational usefulness. You will contribute to practical workforce planning support, labor market interpretation, and dashboard validation rather than developing black-box prediction systems or making exaggerated AI claims.
As a fellow, you will engage in a flexible, remote, project-based collaboration, dedicating approximately 3–5 hours per week. This structure allows you to contribute to real-world workforce intelligence initiatives while building portfolio-quality projects in workforce analytics and forecasting.
Participating in the WIL fellowship offers unique opportunities to:
As the lab expands, fellows may also have opportunities to participate in expanded research collaborations, advisory initiatives, future grant-supported projects, and workforce intelligence presentations.
Graduate students, PhD candidates, early-career researchers, and analytically oriented professionals are encouraged to apply. We are particularly interested in candidates with backgrounds in predictive analytics, operations research, econometrics, statistics, industrial engineering, labor economics, data science, and quantitative modeling.
To apply, please submit your application through the AlphaHire Workforce Intelligence Lab portal. Include a brief statement of interest outlining your experience with workforce analytics or labor market analysis and how you align with our focus on operational visibility and practical forecasting support.
