About the Role

This 10-month exempt position within Charles County Public Schools is dedicated to fostering academic growth and nurturing young children. The role exists to provide appropriate learning experiences that support the intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development of students. As an educator, you will serve as a vital link between students, parents, staff, and the community, creating an environment conducive to learning and growth.

Day in the Life

Your work will involve planning and delivering instructional plans and materials tailored to meet the diverse needs of all students. You will supervise students across various school-related settings, monitor their outcomes, and maintain accurate records in compliance with required procedures. A significant portion of your time will be spent interacting with students and families to build strong relationships, while also collaborating with colleagues on special committees. You will also be responsible for the care and use of school equipment, materials, and facilities.
