Life Skills Autism Academy, a division of Centria Autism, is a high-commitment, center-based ABA Therapy program. Rooted in the evidence that early, high-intensive ABA Therapy leads to the greatest potential reached by children on the autism spectrum, we specialize in providing services to young children.
As leading experts in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), our highly-trained clinicians develop individualized, one-on-one programs that help children break down routine tasks into manageable steps. This type of therapy helps children with autism improve communication ability, daily living skills, and the social behaviors necessary to thrive in school, at home, and in their community.
As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will be the frontline of our mission, providing direct client care in both 1:1 and group settings. Your day will involve utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment training to support children as they learn. You will work closely with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to implement prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols, ensuring every child receives the personalized attention they need to succeed.
Beyond direct therapy, you will play a vital role in the family's journey by assisting with parent and caregiver training. Effective communication with families regarding client progress is a key part of your daily routine, fostering a collaborative environment where everyone works toward the child's goals. You will also maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment, ensuring that all documentation is completed accurately and on time.
At Centria, we offer more than just a job; we offer a structured career path in the field of Behavioral Analysis. You will have unlimited opportunities to make a tangible impact in the life of a special needs child. Our team values diversity and inclusion, creating a supportive culture where you can grow professionally while making a difference.
We provide a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401K plan, and a tuition discount program. We also support aspiring professionals with a Practicum Program to help earn supervision hours for BCBA certification. Additional perks include access to our Employee Assistance Plan for mental health support, discounts through our Benefit Hub, and early wage access.
Candidates selected for an interview will be required to participate in our background check process. We look for individuals who are reliable, compassionate, and committed to the safety and well-being of the children we serve.
We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, Veteran status, or disability status.
