About the Team
The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of the state's residents. This role supports the implementation of the SCRIPT Act, a critical initiative designed to enhance transparency in drug pricing and ensure the integrity of healthcare data across the state.
About the Role
The SCRIPT Data Analyst serves as a pivotal link between raw data and actionable policy insights. In this position, you will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of manufacturer price increase notices and new drug submissions. Your work ensures that data is ingested, cleaned, and validated with a rigorous focus on accuracy and completeness.
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards that serve both the public transparency portal and internal oversight teams. Beyond visualization, you will monitor submission activities and compliance metrics, providing automated reporting to support program operations. A key aspect of the role involves analyzing trends in drug pricing, cost drivers, and submission patterns to identify non-compliance risks and inform policy decisions.
Collaboration is central to this role. You will work closely with IT, Legal, and program teams to optimize data pipelines and workflows while ensuring strict adherence to confidentiality and data governance standards. This includes coordinating with Legal and Privacy teams to protect trade secrets and maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations, including HIPAA.
Hiring Process
