Russell Tobin is supporting a Fortune 5 technology client in Seattle, WA, seeking a Powder Coating Technician to join a growing manufacturing and production team. This role supports a newly expanded powder coating operation and increased sheet metal production demand within a fast-paced, innovative environment.
This is a hands-on manufacturing position ideal for candidates with powder coating, auto body painting, assembly, or general manufacturing experience. The technician will perform powder coating operations on components produced through CNC machining, welding, sheet metal fabrication, and 3D printing processes. The role focuses on ensuring high-quality finishes that meet strict production and customer specifications while maintaining safety and operational standards.
Success in this role requires a strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset. Candidates should take pride in craftsmanship, demonstrate a commitment to safety and quality standards, and possess the ability to adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

2+ years of powder coating experience in manufacturing. Experience with electrostatic spray application. Familiarity with surface preparation and media blasting. Understanding of coating chemistry and color matching. Experience working in high-mix manufacturing environments. Forklift certification. Vocational or technical training related to coatings or manufacturing.
