About the Role
The Commercial Building Porter serves as the first line of defense in maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall upkeep of commercial properties. This position is vital to daily building operations, ensuring that common areas, restrooms, exterior grounds, and tenant spaces remain clean, safe, and presentable at all times.
In this role, you will be the face of the property for occupants and visitors, providing excellent customer service while supporting the building's operational standards. Your day-to-day involves a dynamic mix of routine maintenance and responsive problem-solving, from operating specialized cleaning equipment to identifying and reporting safety hazards or maintenance issues to management promptly.
