The Porter at Laurel, The is responsible for assisting in carrying out the maintenance processes of the property, including corrective, preventative, routine, and cosmetic maintenance. Working under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager, you will also be responsible for the make-ready process consistent with the property's operational objectives.
Your day will involve regular onsite attendance to ensure the community remains pristine and safe. You will manage the daily cleanup of the exterior, including grounds, breezeways, and all common areas, as well as perform swimming pool maintenance and cleaning while keeping accurate chemical logs. You will respond to resident and management requests for community common areas, buildings, and units in a timely manner, ensuring all necessary repairs and replacements are completed. Additionally, you will inspect grounds and buildings daily to identify and correct hazardous conditions, maintain a well-organized maintenance shop adhering to safety standards, and assist in promoting safe work practices.
