Based at Westbridge Apartments, the Porter plays a vital role in assisting with the maintenance processes of the property. You will work under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager to execute corrective, preventative, routine, and cosmetic maintenance tasks. A key part of your day involves managing the make-ready process consistent with the property's operational objectives.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of grounds, buildings, breezeways, and all interior and exterior community common areas. You will respond to resident and management requests for work orders in a timely manner, inspecting the property daily to identify and correct hazardous conditions. Additionally, you will assist in maintaining a preventative maintenance program to extend the life of the community and help teach safe work practices to promote a hazard-free environment. As a representative of the community, you will project a favorable image to residents and the public while enforcing community policies.
