About the Role
The Field Superintendent I is critical to ensuring that all R.T. Moore projects achieve first-time quality while adhering to R.T. Moore Quality Standards and building codes. In this role, you will lead by example, representing R.T. Moore professionally and engaging in workforce development to help retain and develop talent. Your leadership will directly impact employee engagement, ensuring the team has a sense of pride in their work and maximizing their earning potential.
Day in the Life
You will manage the job site team to efficiently oversee material logistics, staging, and inventory while executing production plans and schedules. A significant portion of your day involves verifying installations per design against quality standards, creating punch lists, and tracking rework. You will communicate effectively with builders and customers, attend required meetings, and lead daily huddles to set clear expectations for quality and productivity. Additionally, you will maintain rigorous job site records, including daily logs and safety documentation, while ensuring a safe environment with no injuries or accidents.
