We are seeking a dynamic Mid to Senior Plumbing Designer or Engineer to join our team. This role is vital in driving project success across a diverse range of sectors, including high-rise and mid-rise multifamily, affordable housing, commercial office, and retail tenant improvements.
You will be responsible for leveraging your expertise to create effective and sustainable plumbing solutions. Your work will focus on integrating energy-efficient designs, ensuring strict compliance with local codes and policies, and managing projects through various delivery models such as design/bid/build, design assist, and design build. From schematics through construction documents, you will develop contract drawings, perform critical load calculations, and coordinate seamlessly with civil engineers and architects.
In this position, you will engage in a multidisciplinary environment, collaborating to produce integrated project documents and cohesive design strategies. You will also have the opportunity to proactively enhance technical quality by staying updated with emerging technologies and evolving building codes, while contributing to the development of internal tools and templates.
To effectively support in-person meetings as needed, candidates must be located within the Seattle area. The role operates on a hybrid model once a physical office is identified.

Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar related field of study, or equivalent work experience. Expert knowledge of Washington State and Seattle codes, sustainable design, and heat pump water heating system design. Experience designing and coordinating heat pump water heating systems. Experience designing and coordinating rainwater/greywater harvesting systems. CPD or CPDT. FE/EIT or PE license. LEED AP.
