We are seeking a motivated Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team, playing a vital role in driving project success across a diverse portfolio of sectors. From multifamily and affordable housing to hospitality, adaptive reuse, and high-rise developments, your expertise will be instrumental in creating effective, energy-efficient, and sustainable electrical solutions. You will ensure all designs strictly comply with local codes and industry standards while navigating complex delivery models, including design/bid/build, design assist, and full design.
This position offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment where your contributions directly impact the quality and success of each project. You will leverage your engineering judgment to guide projects from initial concepts through construction, managing everything from electrical distribution and lighting systems to equipment selection and site visits. Your work will involve generating and editing project specifications, responding to RFIs, and reviewing submittals to support construction administration.
Beyond technical execution, you will serve as a mentor to junior staff, providing quality control for project documentation. We value strong problem-solving and analytical skills, encouraging you to proactively enhance technical quality by staying updated with emerging technologies, evolving building codes, and advancements in the industry. This is an in-person role that requires availability for site visits and meetings, operating within a flexible hybrid office policy.
Candidates who meet the basic qualifications are encouraged to apply. While a PE license and LEED AP certification are preferred, they are not required for consideration. We look for individuals with deep expertise in Washington State and Seattle codes, sustainable design practices, and electric utility coordination (specifically SCL and PSE experience), as well as experience with EV charging infrastructure and project management.
We foster a collaborative environment where integrated project documents and cohesive design strategies are the norm. We are committed to building a diverse team and consider qualified applicants regardless of background.
