R.T. Moore is a mid-size mechanical contractor and one of the largest in the nation. We pride ourselves on a culture where every team member is more than just a number. Here, leadership genuinely cares about you as a person, values your input, and treats everyone with respect. We offer a steady Monday-to-Friday schedule with no nights or weekends, allowing you to focus on your craft and your life outside of work.
As a Plumber II, you will play a critical role in the successful installation of new construction plumbing. This position goes beyond technical execution; you are responsible for maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality while guiding the development of apprentice plumbers. You will be the bridge between complex job site prints and the physical installation of drain-waste-vent systems, water lines, gas lines, and pump installations.
Your day will involve meticulously preparing for projects by reading plans, staging materials, and conducting walk-throughs. You will collaborate daily with superintendents and other trades to ensure seamless project flow. A key part of your mission is to invest in the next generation of plumbers by providing direction, feedback, and mentorship to apprentices, demonstrating a strong work ethic and a commitment to "first-time quality" work.
