R.T. Moore is a mid-size mechanical contractor and one of the largest in the nation. We pride ourselves on a culture where every team member is more than a number. Here, leadership treats everyone with respect, genuinely cares about you as a person, and actively listens to your input. We foster an environment where you can build strong relationships with colleagues across all trades while taking pride in delivering first-time quality work.
As a Plumber II, you will play a critical role in the successful installation of new construction plumbing. This position goes beyond individual craftsmanship; you are responsible for maintaining the safety and quality of work performed by apprentice plumbers. You will serve as a mentor, providing direction, guidance, and feedback to help trainees grow while ensuring all projects adhere to state codes and company quality standards.
Your day will involve interpreting job site prints and builder start packs to stage materials and layout projects efficiently. You will collaborate daily with superintendents and other trades during morning huddles, ensuring seamless communication as project needs evolve. Whether navigating outdoor weather conditions, working in various heights, or managing complex DWV and gas line installations, you will uphold our core values of safety, professionalism, and excellence.
We offer a steady Monday-to-Friday schedule with no nights or weekends, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while contributing to significant projects.
To join our team, please visit our website at www.rtmoore.com to apply. We look for candidates who demonstrate a motivated work ethic, clear communication skills, and the ability to solve problems independently.
