R.T. Moore is a mid-size mechanical contractor and one of the largest in the nation, built on a culture where employees are more than just a number. We treat everyone with respect, and our leadership genuinely cares about you as a person, actively listening to your input. We pride ourselves on fostering an environment where you can grow, contribute, and take pride in your work.
As a Plumber II, you will play a critical role in the successful installation of new construction plumbing. This position goes beyond technical execution; you are responsible for maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality while guiding the development of apprentice plumbers. You will serve as a mentor, providing direction, feedback, and insight to help the next generation of tradespeople succeed.
Your day will involve interpreting job site prints and builder start packs to meticulously plan and stage materials for each project. You will ensure that all drain-waste-vent, water, gas, and pump installations adhere strictly to state codes and company quality standards. Collaboration is key, as you will communicate daily with superintendents and build strong relationships with team members across all trades. We offer a steady Monday-to-Friday schedule with no nights or weekends, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while working on-site.
