Join R.T. Moore, a mid-size mechanical contractor where you are more than a number. Here, everyone is treated with respect, and leadership genuinely cares about you as a person and listens to your input. As one of the largest mechanical contractors in the nation, we pride ourselves on a culture where you can build meaningful relationships with team members across all trades.
As a Plumber II, you will play a critical role in the successful installation of new construction plumbing while maintaining responsibility for the safety and quality of work performed by apprentice plumbers. This position is designed for a motivated professional who takes pride in first-time quality work and is eager to invest in the training and development of the next generation of tradespeople.
You will be the bridge between project plans and physical execution, interpreting job site prints and builder start packs to ensure precise installation of drain-waste-vent systems, water lines, tub sets, gas lines, and pump installations. Your day will involve diligently preparing for projects by staging materials, organizing the jobsite and truck, and communicating effectively with superintendents and other trades during morning huddles. Beyond the technical work, you will serve as a mentor, providing direction and feedback to apprentices while upholding our core values of safety, quality, and strong work ethic.
We offer a steady Monday-to-Friday schedule with no nights or weekends, allowing for a healthy work-life balance. As a valued member of our team, you will enjoy comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, short- and long-term disability, accrued PTO, paid holidays, 401(k), and profit sharing.
