Join R.T. Moore, a mid-size mechanical contractor and one of the largest in the nation. We pride ourselves on a culture where every team member is more than a number. Here, leadership treats everyone with respect, genuinely cares about you as a person, and actively listens to your input. We foster an environment built on core values, encouraging first-time quality work and strong relationships across all trades.
As a Plumber II, you will play a critical role in the successful installation of new construction plumbing. This position is designed for a motivated professional who takes pride in their craft while maintaining responsibility for the safety and quality of work performed by apprentice plumbers. You will be the bridge between technical execution and team development, ensuring that state codes are strictly adhered to and that projects are staged and executed with precision.
Your day-to-day involves interpreting job site prints and builder start packs to guide the installation of drain-waste-vent systems, water lines, tub sets, gas lines, and pumps. Beyond the technical work, you will invest time in the training and development of apprentices, providing direction, feedback, and insight to help them grow. You will also collaborate daily with superintendents and other trades during morning huddles to ensure seamless project flow.
We offer a steady Monday-to-Friday schedule with no nights or weekends, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while working on-site. Whether you are navigating outdoor weather conditions or managing complex job site logistics, you will be part of a supportive team that values your contribution.
