We are seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to support the United States Army. In this role, you will work directly with US Army and US Government mission partners, as well as other contracting partners, to develop, deploy, and maintain cloud-based and on-prem digital and software solutions for the Warfighter. This position is designed for candidates who are adept at applying platform principles in modern software environments and are comfortable working across disciplines in secure environments.
You will partner closely with developers and other engineers to ensure software integration and testing run smoothly across various programs and platforms. The role offers the flexibility to be performed remotely, allowing you to contribute to mission-critical infrastructure while maintaining a strong connection to the team and the broader mission.
Candidates must possess an active SECRET clearance to be considered for this position. The application process involves a review of qualifications, including relevant government technology experience and technical competencies in cloud-native architectures and DevSecOps pipelines.

Master's degree in Computer Science or related technical field. Knowledge of the Army software development process and its technologies. Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) or Certified Kubernetes Administrator certification. Experience and/or understanding of US Army processes, business systems, and command and control policies and procedures. AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Developer Associate certification.
