This role is based in the Abbott Nutrition division at our Sturgis, Michigan location. As a Plant Project Coordinator on the 3rd shift, you will serve as a key resource and point of contact for capital projects, process improvements, and new product introductions within the manufacturing environment. You will act as the primary liaison during regulatory audits from the FDA, OSHA, AQR, and MDA, ensuring full compliance with all standards.
Your day will involve extensive collaboration with division and plant support personnel across Microbiology, Engineering, R&D, Maintenance, Safety, and Quality Assurance. You will coordinate engineering studies, conduct area audits to ensure facility and process alignment with business needs, and lead process improvement and technical troubleshooting initiatives. Additionally, you will support department supervisors, manage work order execution, and coordinate with the Production Cleaning Team to maintain area sanitation.
