About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency, with experience in commercial driving and heavy equipment operation. This role is vital for transporting goods and materials while ensuring strict compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
You will be responsible for safely operating vehicles to transport freight to designated locations, conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles remain in safe operating condition, and loading/unloading freight using forklifts and other necessary equipment. The position requires maintaining accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and deliveries, while adhering to all traffic laws. You will also communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport, performing basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability.
