About the Role
HKA Enterprises is seeking a motivated and self-starting Piping Area Lead to drive project execution for high-tech industrial manufacturing facility projects. In this hybrid role, you will provide direction and coordinate the work of sub-leads and piping designers, ensuring high design quality and adherence to delivery schedules. You will act as a bridge between the piping team and cross-discipline groups, including Process and Mechanical engineers, to resolve complex design challenges.
The position involves managing the delivery schedule, developing resource loaders to predict budget burn rates, and facilitating the resolution of design issues. Depending on project needs, the role may also require field support activities, such as site walks, at the client's location. This is a hybrid position requiring a 2-day-per-week in-office schedule in one of the following locations: Portland, OR; Phoenix, AZ; Pittsburgh, PA; or Boise, ID. Fully remote work is considered only for candidates who are an extremely strong fit.
