Key Responsibilities
- check_circleLead and execute piping layout and 3D modeling activities ensuring constructability and code compliance
- check_circleDirect and coordinate the work of designers and drafters as the piping design team leader
- check_circleDevelop, review, and approve piping plans, arrangements, sections, and isometrics
- check_circleManage assigned piping scope on large, complex projects under discipline management
- check_circleCoordinate with process, mechanical, structural, and electrical teams to resolve layout issues
- check_circleProvide technical guidance, mentoring, and training to piping design staff
- check_circleReview vendor and shop drawings for compliance with project requirements and layout intent
- check_circleSupport planning activities including schedules, manpower estimates, and quality control
Requirements
- verifiedHigh School Diploma or Associate Degree with relevant drafting or design coursework
- verified12+ years of piping design and layout experience
- verifiedDemonstrated experience leading or coordinating piping design teams
- verifiedStrong knowledge of piping codes, standards, and industry best practices
- verifiedAdvanced CAD experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation, or Revit
- verifiedExperience with Plant 3D and/or AVEVA E3D
- verifiedProficiency with CADWorx, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office
Nice to Have
Bachelor's Degree. Certificate in Design/Drafting. Direct experience with power plant piping systems, including turbine buildings, HRSGs, balance-of-plant, or utility systems. Experience with Plant 3D and/or AVEVA E3D.
