About the Team
Design Mechanical is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Comfort Systems USA, a $3 billion mechanical contracting giant. Despite this scale, we maintain a local company feel with nearly 300 employees across Colorado. We operate from our corporate offices and a state-of-the-art fabrication shop in Louisville, as well as a dedicated shop in Gypsum for our mountain region.
About the Role
We are expanding our Service Department and seeking an experienced HVAC/R Technician to join our team in Louisville. This role is vital for maintaining the reliability of commercial HVAC systems. You will serve as the frontline expert for maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs, utilizing your knowledge of refrigeration theory, electrical schematics, and mechanical layouts to ensure customer satisfaction.
In this position, you will perform repairs, overhauls, and start-ups on commercial systems. Your day will involve diagnosing units using blueprints, wiring diagrams, and piping schemes, as well as preparing for on-site installations by examining building layouts and coordinating work. You will also provide technical support to customers and stay current on all manufacturers' products regarding installation and service.
