As a Warehouse Associate / Picker-Packer, you will be the backbone of our logistics operations, ensuring the efficient picking, packing, and timely movement of products. Your primary goal is to move product safely while maximizing productivity in a fast-paced environment. You will work within a structured framework of Standard Operating Procedures covering a wide range of attributes, including breakdown, e-commerce services, loading, packing, picking, returns, and store sorting.
This role is critical to maintaining optimal customer service by ensuring all work areas are handled with accuracy. You will be responsible for packaging and shipping products to stores, salons, or directly to customers. The position may also involve engaging in special projects, such as the deal break process or processing returns by inspecting products for damage and verifying piece counts against paperwork. Success in this role requires the ability to work with limited supervision, adapt to change and interruptions, and maintain a safe work environment by reporting hazards and practicing good housekeeping.
The work environment involves everyday risks associated with a high-volume warehouse, requiring heightened safety precautions typical of loading/receiving docks. You will utilize safe work practices with light to heavy equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, while avoiding trips and falls and observing fire regulations. The role may expose you to occasional fumes, odors, and temperature fluctuations ranging from 25 to 105 degrees Fahrenheit. The position requires physical exertion, including repetitively lifting cartons weighing 10 to 55 pounds, standing or walking for 6 to 12 hours a day, and climbing stairs and ladders.
