About the Role
This position serves as the operational backbone of our warehouse, managing the critical flow of materials from allocation and routing to final distribution. You will be responsible for planning and overseeing all warehouse activities, including receiving, order picking, packing, and shipping. By delegating authority and coordinating closely with manufacturing, sales, and customer service teams, you ensure that production schedules and commitments to both internal and external customers are consistently met.
Day-to-Day Impact
In this role, you will identify parts for put-away, load and unload trucks, and transport materials between departments. You will operate gas and electric-powered forklifts, pallet jacks, and box dollies while maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment. A key part of your day involves identifying damage or loss of materials and ensuring strict compliance with ISO procedures. You will also utilize computer terminals to manage inventory flow and communicate effectively with vendors, customers, and team members regarding work orders and operational updates.
