As an Essentia Health Primary Care Physician, you will lead a collaborative Care Team consisting of Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Nurses, and ancillary staff. Utilizing Essentia Care Processes, the team works together to improve the overall health of patients by providing acute, chronic, and preventive healthcare.
In the role of an Essentia Health Walk-In Clinic Provider, you will open the door to new and established patients, offering an exceptional experience and high-quality care. You will diagnose and treat a wide range of chronic and acute problems, including URIs, UTIs, lacerations, DVTs, lesions, environmental exposures, heart attacks, strokes, hypertension, and diabetes. This position offers the unique opportunity to care for patients with diverse cultural backgrounds, ranging from newborns to centenarians.
The 9th Street Clinic in Bismarck provides access to lab services and advanced imaging, including CT, MRI, and ultrasound. Additionally, providers have access to numerous Medical/Surgical specialties locally within the Essentia Health network. The practice is staffed by 4 MDs and 2 APPs, with variability at each location.
