As a Primary Care Physician, you will lead a collaborative Care Team consisting of Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Nurses, and ancillary staff. Together, you will utilize Essentia Care Processes to improve the overall health of patients by providing acute, chronic, and preventive care.
About the Role
In this Walk-In Clinic provider role, you will open the door to both new and established patients, offering an exceptional experience and high-quality care. You will diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions, from URIs and UTIs to lacerations, heart attacks, strokes, and chronic issues like hypertension and diabetes. The position offers the unique opportunity to care for patients with diverse cultural backgrounds, ranging from newborns to centenarians.
You will work within a supportive environment featuring 4 MDs and 2 APPs on staff. The 9th Street Clinic provides access to lab services and advanced imaging, including CT, MRI, and ultrasound, while the broader Essentia Health network offers access to numerous medical and surgical specialties locally.

This position is based in Bismarck, North Dakota, the second-most populous city in the state. Situated on the eastern bank of the Missouri River, Bismarck is a safe, family-friendly city with an active downtown, great schools, and numerous community activities.
