About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and driven Full-Time Surgeon to join our team in Ann Arbor, Michigan, at a Level 1 Trauma Center. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health of our community while working in a supportive, mission-driven environment.
You will be part of a multidisciplinary trauma care program with a strong focus on continuous performance improvement, clinical education, and quality outcomes. The position spans the full spectrum of trauma services, from prevention through rehabilitation, allowing you to provide comprehensive care in Trauma Surgery, Surgical Critical Care, and Emergency General Surgery.
Day in the Life
In this role, you will participate in the care of trauma patients across the full continuum, from initial resuscitation through rehabilitation. Beyond clinical duties, you will serve as a clinical educator for General Surgery Residents and Surgical Critical Care Fellows. You will also engage in clinical research, scholarly activities, and administrative leadership responsibilities, including supporting ongoing trauma verification and performance improvement initiatives. The work environment fosters collaboration among skilled physicians, Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), and dedicated support staff, utilizing advanced digital tools like Epic and MyChart.
