Adelphi Locums is seeking a dedicated Neurosurgeon to join a comprehensive team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The role is designed for a physician who thrives in a setting that values multidisciplinary collaboration and evidence-based surgical care.
As a Neurosurgeon, you will manage complex cases ranging from trauma neurosurgical management to advanced surgical procedures. The position supports a Level II Trauma center, requiring close coordination with neurologists, neurointerventionalists, and trauma teams. You will be responsible for interpreting advanced neuroimaging and delivering high-quality patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Beyond clinical duties, this role offers significant academic engagement. You will have the opportunity to teach medical students, residents, and fellows, fostering the next generation of neurosurgeons. The schedule follows a 7-on/7-off rotation, providing a balanced approach to clinical responsibilities and personal time.
Candidates must hold an active Michigan medical license or be in the process of obtaining one. Board Certification (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) status is required, with BE candidates needing to complete their residency within five years. Additional requirements include BLS, DEA registration, and a recent NPDB report.
