We are seeking a skilled and motivated Hospitalist Neurosurgeon to join our Grand Rapids team. This is a unique chance to make a meaningful impact while practicing in a mission-driven, highly supportive environment. You will join a high-performing surgical team at a Level II Trauma Center, practicing within a renowned Neurosurgery Program recognized for best-in-class outcomes in brain and spine surgery.
In this 7-on/7-off hospitalist position, you will deliver patient-centered, high-quality, evidence-based surgical care. The role offers predictable scheduling and work-life balance, allowing you to focus on a comprehensive cranial and spinal case mix with a strong referral base. You will collaborate closely with neurologists, neurointerventionalists, trauma teams, and other onsite specialties to support seamless care from diagnosis through surgery and rehabilitation.
Beyond clinical duties, this position includes academic involvement with opportunities to teach medical students, residents, and fellows. You will work alongside three employed neurosurgeons in a collaborative and dynamic team environment, with access to a Comprehensive Stroke Center, Level 4 Epilepsy Center, and Movement Disorder Clinic.
