About the Role
As a Physician Assistant in Primary Care, you will join a large, well-established clinic featuring approximately 20 Family Medicine providers. This role is designed for those who thrive in a close-knit, interdisciplinary environment where you can make a tangible impact on patient health. You will operate with prescriptive authority, providing direct patient care that includes new patient visits, follow-ups, and acute care management.
Your day-to-day involves managing a balanced caseload of approximately 18 patients, utilizing the Enhanced Care Team (ECT) model. You will work alongside a dedicated Medical Assistant and share support with LVNs, RNs, Social Workers, and Front Desk staff. The role offers a mix of clinical responsibilities, from comprehensive physical exams and in-basket management to performing procedures such as Pap smears. If you are interested in expanding your skills, there are opportunities to take on additional procedures under the guidance of the team.
Team & Support
We foster a collaborative culture where you are never working in isolation. You will benefit from on-site specialty support and monthly quality assurance collaboration with a supervising physician. For new graduates, we offer a structured onboarding process with 12 to 18 months of transition support, ensuring you have the mentorship needed to grow. You will receive ongoing guidance from both the supervising physician and APP leadership, with access to the APP Professional Development Program and quality review processes.
Hiring Process & Application
We are open to both new graduates and experienced Advanced Practice Providers. While we prefer candidates with at least one year of experience, we value potential and a commitment to our mission.
