Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProvide outpatient obstetrics and gynecology services at assigned clinic locations
- check_circleConduct routine patient check-ups and maintain required productivity expectations
- check_circleManage administrative duties including lab reports, charts, and medication refills
- check_circleMonitor and treat expectant mothers during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum periods
- check_circlePerform inpatient obstetrics and gynecology services including infant deliveries and surgical procedures
- check_circleDiagnose disorders and prescribe appropriate treatments for patients
- check_circleConduct diagnostic tests such as pap smears, pelvic exams, and breast exams
Requirements
- verifiedDoctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
- verifiedCompletion of an accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program
- verifiedBoard Certification or Board Eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- verifiedActive and unrestricted Kentucky medical license
- verifiedCurrent DEA registration and Kentucky Controlled Substance License
- verifiedCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- verifiedCertification through the Drug Enforcement Agency
- verifiedExperience with Electronic Health Records systems
- verifiedAbility to secure credentialing through Medicare and Medicaid
