Physical Therapists at VNS Health help New Yorkers get back on their feet and out of the hospital so they can heal where they are most comfortable—in their homes and communities. You will practice independently as part of an interdisciplinary care team, delivering personalized 1:1 rehabilitative therapy programs for patients recovering from surgery, illness, or accident.
In this role, you will conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patient needs, develop treatment plans, and constantly evaluate evolving needs to adjust plans of care accordingly. By being part of your patients' day-to-day lives, you can assess progress and provide the tailored support necessary for a successful recovery.
Candidates must hold a valid licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in New York State. A valid driver's license is required for all areas outside the borough of Manhattan. We also welcome those with a minimum of one year of physical therapy experience or those who have successfully completed a probationary period as a VNS Health Rehab Intern.
