About the Role
Physical Therapists at VNS Health help New Yorkers get back on their feet and out of the hospital so they can heal where they are most comfortable – in their homes and communities. You will be part of our 130-year history and the innovative Future of Care built by clinicians like you.
In this role, you will practice independently in the community as part of an interdisciplinary care team. You will design and deliver personalized 1:1 rehabilitative therapy programs for patients recovering from surgery, illness, or accidents. By being a part of their day-to-day life, you can assess progress and constantly evaluate evolving patient needs, responding with timely plan of care adjustments. Your work involves conducting comprehensive assessments to determine patient needs and developing courses of action, including treatment plans and outcomes.
Hiring Process
Candidates must have a minimum of one year of physical therapy experience or have successfully completed a probationary period as a VNS Health Rehab Intern. A valid driver's license is required for all areas outside the borough of Manhattan.
