We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Physical Therapist for a 14-week contract opportunity within an acute care hospital rehabilitation setting in Syracuse, NY. This role is designed for a professional comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment, providing comprehensive therapy services to diverse patient populations.
You will serve as a key member of the interdisciplinary healthcare team, collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other staff to establish functional goals and implement therapeutic exercise programs. The position offers the opportunity to act as a clinical instructor for senior-level students, assist in training new staff, and support the development of new rehabilitation initiatives.
This is a day shift position (08:00 AM – 04:30 PM) requiring 42.5 hours per week, typically structured as 5x8.5 hour shifts. One weekend per month is required. The role demands the ability to work independently while maintaining strict compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards.
