As a Physical Therapist (P.T.) in our Inpatient department, you will join a dynamic team supporting a diverse patient population. This PRN role offers the flexibility of working on an as-needed basis, with coverage primarily between Monday and Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, though some weekends and holidays may be required. Whether you are a new graduate or an experienced acute care professional, you will play a vital role in our mission to provide exceptional rehabilitation services.
In this position, you will perform age-appropriate patient assessments and establish comprehensive plans of care. Your day-to-day involves executing treatment procedures within your professional scope, educating patients and their families on safety, home programs, and self-management, and initiating discharge planning in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team. You will also have the opportunity to lead or attend departmental and community meetings, contributing to a culture of strong collaboration and continuous learning.
