About the Opportunity
Join the 99th Medical Group at the Mike O'Callaghan Military Medical Center on Nellis Air Force Base as a Civilian Pain Management Physician. This role offers a unique chance to serve as an independent contractor (1099) while working alongside active-duty military personnel to deliver high-quality care.
About the Role
As a Pain Management Physician, you will provide comprehensive care for patients of all ages, utilizing a blend of conventional medicine and integrative therapies. The position focuses on diagnosing, managing, and treating both acute and chronic pain conditions. You will apply your expertise in modalities such as myofascial techniques, trigger point injections, acupuncture, and shockwave therapy to create effective, non-pharmacological treatment plans.
Typical duty hours are scheduled from 0730 to 1630, with no on-call requirements, allowing for a predictable work-life balance while you contribute to the health and readiness of the military community.

- verifiedBLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
- verifiedNFIM or similar integrative medicine training
- verifiedABMS or AOA board certification (M.D./D.O.)
- verifiedActive Nevada medical license
