UNMH is New Mexico's only Level 1 trauma center and the state's premier teaching hospital. The Women's Health Physical Therapy team operates within this dynamic environment, focusing primarily on Women's Health and Pelvic Floor issues while also serving men with pelvic floor pain and dysfunction. The team works in close collaboration with Uro-gynecology providers to deliver comprehensive care.
Members of the team frequently collaborate with providers to present continuing education programs and participate in Uro-gynecology fellows' interviews and research. Educational opportunities are abundant, with many therapists also teaching within the UNM Physical Therapy program. This role offers a unique blend of clinical practice and academic engagement.
This Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy position is based in an outpatient clinic with a 0.75 FTE schedule on days.
