About the Opportunity
The Defense Health Agency (DHA) has established this requirement to provide essential medical and administrative support services across the Colorado Military Health System (CMHS) and the 90th Medical Group (MDG) at F.E. Warren Air Force Base. This contract is vital for supporting the delivery of comprehensive healthcare to active-duty service members, retirees, and their families within multiple Military Treatment Facilities in Colorado and Wyoming.
The role ensures continuity of operations, accurate medical documentation, and effective coordination of care, directly supporting the DHA's mission to deliver high-quality, patient-centered healthcare across the Military Health System.
Role Context
As a Physical Therapist, you will perform a full range of services in accordance with the scope of clinical privileges granted by the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF). Your work will involve planning and preparing written treatment programs based on patient evaluations, administering manual exercises to improve and maintain function, and instructing patients in various physical activities, including ambulatory functional activities and the use of assistive devices.
You will also coordinate treatment with physicians and other staff members to integrate physical therapy with the patient's broader healthcare plan, contact referring physicians regarding care concerns, and perform prevention and wellness activities to promote positive health behaviors.
