About the Role
The Physical Therapy Assistant is a vital member of the Rehabilitation Services team, providing skilled therapeutic interventions to patients across the entire continuum of professional care. This role serves a diverse patient population, including outpatients, inpatients, pediatrics, and off-site locations.
In this position, you will work collaboratively with Physical Therapists and the broader health team to plan, modify, and coordinate treatment programs. Your day-to-day involves delivering age-appropriate therapeutic interventions, monitoring patient responses, and documenting treatment progress in the electronic health record. You will also play a key role in patient and family education, ensuring that care is tailored to the specific developmental and medical needs of neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
