About the Role
As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will treat patients facing difficulties with mobility, function, strength, and positioning. Working under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist, you will operate within the scope of practice outlined by the APTA and state licensure laws. Beyond direct patient care, you may assist in conducting in-services and training for facility staff on restorative and functional maintenance programs.
You will report to the Licensed Physical Therapist and/or Director of Operations and collaborate closely with families, physicians, and other health team members. A key part of your role involves maintaining impeccable, professional documentation of services in the medical record. Like our other therapists, you will model and promote competent, courteous, and professional services to internal and external customers to help develop and maintain a competitive advantage.
