You will play a vital role in documenting patient responses and progress in detailed reports, while also educating patients and their families about treatment plans and maintenance exercises. Collaboration with other healthcare professionals is essential to enhance patient treatment and recovery, ensuring a cohesive care experience.
The day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining equipment and ensuring treatment areas are functional and safe, as well as assisting with patient mobility and transportation within the treatment facility. Success in this role demands strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to follow detailed instructions, and proficiency in using therapy equipment safely and effectively. You must also be capable of handling the physical demands of the job, such as moving or lifting patients.
