About the Role
As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, Rehab Supervisor, and Rehab Director to deliver rehabilitative care that helps patients improve mobility, regain function, and adapt to physical limitations. You will implement individualized treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and communicate findings to the supervising therapist.
Your day will involve providing therapeutic exercises, functional training, and the use of modalities while ensuring accurate documentation. You will play a key role in supporting program development and departmental goals, ensuring all care is delivered in accordance with state licensure requirements, APTA standards, and applicable safety regulations. Flexibility is essential, as you may need to provide coverage to other service lines during times of high or low census and participate in weekend coverage to meet patient needs.
