About the Role
As a Physical Education Teacher for Senior High at USD 259, you will serve as a vital link in developing students' physical skills and abilities while fostering their understanding of the importance of exercise for physical, mental, and social well-being. Under the general supervision of the School Principal, your mission is to motivate students to pursue physical fitness, proper hygiene, and good health throughout their lives.
You will create a safe and optimal learning environment where students develop leadership, teamwork, and social skills. The role involves designing and administering classes that align with district goals, teaching motor skills, and providing appropriate feedback on student progress. You will also coordinate extra-curricular activities, including athletic events and student performances, while ensuring effective communication with parents and the broader school community.
