As an Outpatient Phlebotomist, you will be the vital link between patients and the diagnostic process. Your role is centered on processing blood draws with a high level of customer satisfaction, focusing on patient care, and maintaining positive communication with patients, hospital staff, and colleagues. You will conduct laboratory tests that provide critical information to physicians for the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases.
Your day will involve traveling to various locations including outpatient draw stations, nursing homes, assisted living centers, and healthcare clinics to serve adults, adolescents, and infants. You will interact professionally with laboratory management, physicians, and patients to ensure optimal care. From collecting specimens for special procedures like therapeutic phlebotomy to processing physician orders and managing courier logistics, you will play a key part in our team's mission to deliver accurate and timely results.
