About the Role
As an Outpatient Phlebotomist, you will be the vital link between our patients and their diagnostic journey. Your role is centered on processing blood draws with precision while delivering a high level of customer satisfaction. You will interact professionally with laboratory management, physicians, and hospital staff to ensure optimal patient care.
Your day will involve conducting phlebotomy procedures for a diverse range of patients, including adults, adolescents, and infants, across outpatient draw stations, nursing homes, assisted living centers, and healthcare clinics. You will be responsible for the accurate collection of specimens, including special procedures like therapeutic phlebotomy and glucose tolerance testing. Beyond the draw station, you will process physician orders, manage specimen logistics for reference labs, and utilize our computer systems to ensure data integrity. You may also drive lab courier vehicles to off-site locations as needed, ensuring that critical diagnostic information reaches physicians promptly for disease diagnosis, prevention, and treatment.

- check_circleIdentify patients, label specimens, and enter results using two unique identifiers
Requirements
- verifiedHigh school graduate or equivalent
- verifiedPhlebotomy training or work experience
