As an Outpatient Phlebotomist, you will be the vital link between patients and the diagnostic process. Your role focuses on processing blood draws with a high level of customer satisfaction, ensuring patient care, and maintaining positive communication with patients, hospital staff, and co-workers. You will conduct laboratory tests that provide critical information to physicians for the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases.
This position involves a dynamic day-to-day workflow, ranging from outpatient draw stations to off-site locations such as nursing homes, assisted living centers, and healthcare clinics. You will interact professionally with laboratory management, physicians, and patients, ensuring optimal care while adhering to strict safety regulations and hospital policies. Whether performing therapeutic phlebotomy, glucose tolerance testing, or processing specimens for reference labs, your attention to detail and ability to work independently are crucial to maintaining the integrity of our laboratory services.
