We are seeking a Phlebotomist II to join our team in Cheyenne, WY. This full-time role operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with rotational Saturdays. The position is integral to our laboratory operations, ensuring the accurate collection and processing of specimens for a variety of needs, including drug screens, biometric screenings, and insurance exams.
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for many clients, requiring a balance of technical precision and compassionate care. Your day will involve collecting specimens from diverse patient populations, including pediatric and geriatric patients, while administering oral solutions as trained. Beyond patient interaction, you will manage the backend logistics of specimen processing—labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, and preparing samples for transport—while maintaining rigorous inventory and sanitation standards.
Success in this position requires a high degree of accuracy in data entry and the ability to navigate lab technology systems to verify orders. You will also handle administrative duties such as billing, payment collection, and maintaining essential logs for equipment maintenance and temperature control.
